Single-origin Colombia Supremo 17/18 Arabica, washed and roasted for a balanced, smooth cup with notes of chocolate, nuts and gentle fruit. Each box holds 8 individually packed drip bags of 12g, so you can brew a fresh cup with just hot water, at home, in the office or on the road.

Colombia Supremo is the highest grade of Colombian coffee by bean size. "17/18" refers to the screen size used to sort the beans, so this lot is made of large, even beans that roast consistently. The beans are Arabica, from varietals such as Caturra, Typica and Bourbon, grown at around 1,200 to 2,000 metres across several Colombian regions and washed after harvest.
It is a departure from our classic kopi-o kosong: instead of the Hainan butter-and-sugar roast, this is a clean single-origin coffee for drinking black, the way the third generation likes it.
Balanced and smooth is the best summary. Expect a round body, a chocolate base, a nutty sweetness and a gentle fruitiness in the finish, without sharp acidity or harsh bitterness. It is easy to enjoy black, and also takes a splash of milk well.
For a fuller cup, use water just off the boil, around 90 to 95°C, and about 150 to 180 ml per bag. Pouring in stages, letting each round drain before the next, gives a more even extraction than pouring all at once.
Each drip bag is individually sealed, so it stays fresh until you open it and fits easily in a drawer, a bag or a travel kit. That makes this box a good fit for the office pantry, hotel stays, camping trips and gifting, wherever there is hot water but no coffee machine.
